Despite the washout from the original date, this show was no dissappointment for the following weekend. Quality, quantity, and all out entertainment still showed off at the beach.
Who says the tri-state area can't have a car show by the beach? Strong Island Street Wheelz has been throwing one of the largest shows in the area for the past several years and they just keep on getting better. The original date was set for September 27th, but due to inclement weather, the show had to be postponed to October 4th. Lucky enough, the weather had held out after a little mist in the early morning hours and the show went on with beautiful sunny skies. The event showcased cars, trucks and bikes in all shapes and forms. From sport compact tuners to exotics, lowriders to muscle, sport bikes to choppers and even decked out SUV trucks to a child's big wheel mini Escalade. This show was a must to attend and if you missed out, well then you have to wait another year to check it out in person. Entertainment for the show was provided by DJ's Razor and Guido at the Performance Motorsport trailer and hosted by the founder of Stront Island Street Wheelz, Big Al. Along with the show was an SPL competion to see who could set the bar and have bragging rights of being the loudest system in the whole show and myabe elsewhere. Being a sponsor of this show, we look foward to working with Street Wheelz again as well as accomplishing larger and better goals for 2010. See you all then! |
